Syntony, new member of the QZSS Business Innovation Council (QBIC) of Japan
Since January 2021, Syntony is a new member of the QZSS Business Innovation Council of Japan (QBIC). QBIC is an association of over 300 members, a large part being private companies, but also Ministries and Governmental agencies of Japan. The mission of QBIC is to help the promotion of Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) and the development of the use of QZSS in all domains where GNSS is necessary. As mentioned in our last newsletter edition, Japan is now enhancing its own regional GNSS constellation named QZSS (or named as well Michibiki) with a full deployment in 2023 with 7 satellites, 4 satellites being already launched.
Syntony at the Korean Institute of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing annual Conference
Thanks to GNSS.asia, Syntony had the opportunity to promote its products and solutions at the Korean Institute of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (IPNT) annual Conference held from 11 to 13 November 2020 in Yeocheon. This Conference was one of the first Conferences done in a presential mode in Korea. GNSS Asia, represented by its Korean office, had run a booth, and presented several European SMEs, including Syntony. One of the main subjects of the Korean IPNT annual Conference was the presentation of the KPS and KASS programs developed by Republic of Korea, as its regional Korean GNSS systems.
In addition, Syntony has been represented at the same Korean IPNT annual Conference by GTS Solutions, a Korean company, distributing Syntony’s GNSS Simulator and GNSS Recorder products.
