Low-Earth Orbit

The Low Orbit altitude goes up to about 2000 km above sea level, and therefore below the GNSS constellation’s altitude (located around 20000 km above sea level).

LEO satellites can benefit from GNSS signals to perform positioning, navigation, and timing, and can be tested using GNSS simulators, like Constellator™.
